ABOUT OUR NONPROFIT
JILL CABRAL-SCHINN
I am the Strategic Partnerships Director at Community Vision. I oversee fundraising, marketing & communications, event planning, grant writing, and donor relations. I also get to collaborate with partners around affordable and accessible housing advocacy by consulting on Universal Design. A previous career running restaurants provided the skills to manage multiple projects while making people feel connected to something greater than themselves. I love that my job allows me to make build relationships, provide people with the means of making an impact, and work collectively to catalyze meaningful change in our world.
Since our foundation in 1989, Community Vision has been dedicated to the philosophy of individual services for people with disabilities. Our mission is to provide services, education, and advocacy to ensure that people with disabilities direct their own lives. We work with our community to foster inclusion, enhance accessibility, and achieve systems change. We have four programs that facilitate independence, agency, and dignity: Supported Living, Employment Connections, Housing Access, and our Assistive Technology Lab. We believe in a world that is accessible and inclusive, making each person feel like a valued member of their community.
