ABOUT OUR HOST:

Dr. Angela Hemingway | Girl Scouts of Silver Sage

Dr. Angela Hemingway is a distinguished educator with over 21 years of experience in STEM classrooms at both the high school and collegiate levels. Her exceptional teaching skills have earned her numerous awards, including Biology and STEM Teacher of the Year. In 2015, she was appointed by the Governor as the first Executive Director of the Idaho STEM Action Center, where she led initiatives in workforce development, educator professional development, business and industry partnerships, and digital inclusion.

Dr. Hemingway has been nominated for Idaho Woman of the Year for five consecutive years and was named the Idaho CEO of Influence in 2020. She served as an Education Advisor for T-Mobile for four years, focusing on national educational policies to scale digital inclusion. Her expertise includes the Affordable Connectivity Program, e-rate, digital access and digital literacy, and campus security. Dr. Angela Hemingway is excited to currently serve as the CEO of the Girl Scouts of Silver Sage. In this role, she supports young women and girls throughout Idaho, fostering their development and empowering them to achieve their full potential.
